Polygons, Polygons!

In math, we are learning about polygons. ("poly" means many and "gon" means sides.

These are polygons:

Can you tell the difference?

Today in 4D we learned about these polygons:

DECAGON---10 sides
DODECAGON--12 sides
SEPTAGON--7 sides
HENDECAGON--11 sides
DODECAGON--12 sides

    wow there are lots of polygons! I hope to learn more in class. I wonder what a 14 sided polygon is called?

    I love learning about polygons! I think Mrs.Alaniz dose a great job of teaching them!
