Do You Remember Your Old Friend?

My Writer's Notebook is a container for my thoughts and ideas.  It is always within reach.

I hope all of my students have had a great summer so far!  Have you had some wonderful times? Have you had some adventures? Capture the thoughts before they fly off into forgetfulness.  Take out a notebook and put those memories on paper----with words and pictures! 

I have been writing this summer, and it has helped me see what a wonderful adventure life can be! 
Remember what we always said in class:  "Writers write!"

It's summer, and this is a great time to read.  If you're having trouble finding a good book, I've got one you might like!
This year in class, many of us read the Humphrey books by Betty G. Birney.

School is out!
