| My Writer's Notebook is a container for my thoughts and ideas. It is always within reach. I hope all of my students have had a great summer so far! Have you had some wonderful times? Have you had some adventures? Capture the thoughts before they fly off into forgetfulness. Take out a notebook and put those memories on paper----with words and pictures! I have been writing this summer, and it has helped me see what a wonderful adventure life can be! Remember what we always said in class: "Writers write!" Is your notebook within reach? What will you write about? |

You know, I've never had my students actually decorate their composition notebooks with pictures, but that's a great idea! Definitely going to use that this year! Thank you!
