Have You Heard of The Lunch Lady?


Here are two of the installments in the series!


Have you ever heard of a graphic novel?  It's a  genre that is really appealing to young readers. 


GRAPHIC NOVELS are fiction books that tell a story using illustrations and words.  In a graphic novel, both the words and the pictures are very important in the story. 


The Lunch Lady graphic novels are very popular in 4D right now.  (We only have a few copies, so we are passing them around and sharing.)  Our students love these books because the story moves quickly. 

Each story is a mystery, and the heroine, Lunch Lady, fights crime along with Betty, her sidekick and three curious students (Hector, Dee, and Terrence).

    That series sounds great! I enjoyed reading some of the book. It sounds very adventuresome!

    It is a good idea to put the books in the blog, because when they search for the books, our blog will be there. I havn't read any books, I wonder what there like?

    I really liked this book series. They were funny and exciting! I wonder what book 8( the last book) will be about. I'm sad there is only 1 book left.

    I love this book series. When I first read Lunch Lady it makes me laugh.I wonder why the author of Lunch Lady is stopping at his 8 book? I love all the Lunch Lady books!

    I never read the lunch lady books but I'm going to give them a try.
    I also never heard of graphic novels but I think it is a great genre after I read some books.
    It's like a book in comic format!!
