A New Graphic Novel Series

While summer is in session,  I will be posting on our classroom blog!
I hope everyone has had a great summer so far! I've been learning with other teachers and reading as much as I could!
I found some books you might enjoy.

First, I found a graphic novel series that is rather SILLY. 

I've beeen looking for these for a while now. They're called THE FLYING BEAVER BROTHERS and they have some very crazy adventures. The author is Maxwell Eaton III. Have you seen these around?
They're fast reads. Let me know what you think of them.

I found a really good chapter book, too.

It's called The Fantastic Secret of Owen Jester. It's written by Barbara O'Connor. She also wrote How To Steal A Dog (another good one).  Owen Jester is a boy who has made a secret discovery near his house. He has a bullfrog named Tooley (who isn't doing well), and his neighbor Viola is always interfering in his fun! This book was published in 2011. I really enjoyed it.
