First Day of School

It was the first day of school for 4A!
 
The day was busy, and before we knew it, it was time to go to lunch, or specials, or recess.
 
I introduced our classroom blog to my students today. We will write posts here together at first, but eventually, the students will write the posts themselves.
 
When we sat down to write our first post together, I asked the class to recap the important parts of the day.
Here's what they said:


We unpacked our school supplies.

We read GINGERBREAD MAN LOOSE IN THE SCHOOL by Laura Murray. The class liked it because some parts were funny and some were an adventure.


We talked about ourselves!

We learned the class rules and how to act in class.

(We talked a lot about this rule:  Be respectful to yourself and others.--Mrs. Alaniz.)

We also learned that Mrs. Alaniz loves books!
