Valentine's Day 2011

Heart-shaped chocolate-chip cookies!

4D had a great Valentine's Day!  We started out by making a promise to continue to show care for our classmates, our school, and our families!  Valentine's Day is a feeling we can show all year long.

We brought in our boxes to hold our valentines.


We delivered valentines to each other.


We ate some delicious snacks.

Our first surprise was a wonderful pinata!

This pinata was held up on a ladder by our wonderful 4D moms. 

Instead of hitting it with a stick, we tried to get at the candy inside by pulling the ribbons!  Everyone hoped to get a chance at a pull.

After about 12 pulls, it finally opened. 



We also played Valentine's Jingo and made a great craft with a magic stick.

    The Valentine's Day party was really fun with all of our activities.I liked it because that day was all about love and candy and 2 weeks away from Bella's 2nd birthday! Yay!

    The Valentine's party was full of fun. I really wish we could have another party like this. Let's hope we get another one!

    I had so much fun that day! And the pinata was so much fun to pull the strings and see people pull the strings.

    The Valentines party was so fun. I cant belive that we had a pinata! I was so surprised when I looked at peoples boxes, they were very good. I wonder if my valentine party in 5th grade will be this fun.

    That was the best Valentines Party i have ever had at school. And i loved how the Moms and Mrs.Alaniz were so creative!

    I loved the Valentine's Day party!
    My favorite part in the party was when we passed out valentines to the class.

    I had so much fun at the Valentine's party!The lady bug pinata was the best part!
    Are the room moms next year ever going to think about a pinata?
