Back in Our Home!

Today, we were happy and surprised to learn that our AC has been repaired! So our room felt cool and perfect!  We were so glad to be in our classrooms again with our books, and our reading area, and our Smartboard!

WHAT WE DID TODAY:
We read more books and worked on our Writer's Notebooks. 
We made a 1,000 book in math.

We also took a Science preassessment. We are still also learning the rules and practicing procedures with Mrs. Alaniz. 

We are starting a list of things our class does.  It is something like a class contract.  Two things on our list so far:

• We always give our full attention to a speaker. 
• We always tell the truth. 

What we're working on at home tonight: 
At home tonight, we are taking an entry from our Writer's Notebooks and writing it out on notebook paper.  We can add things or delete things.  This will be our first finished piece of finished writing.
The topic: Write about a special person in your life and a time you spent with them. We have been working on this since last week.
