At Denton Creek, it's cool to have a great vocabulary. Our fabulous principal, Mr. McLain, inspires us each month with a list of some really terrific words that come in handy in certain situations. Now that we have an extra day in our weekend, let's learn some words and be prepared the next time Mr. Mac stops us in the hallway and asks: "Do YOU know your vocabulary words?"
ENVIRONMENT: all of the surrounds that influence the growth, development, and well-being of a living thing
ASPIRE: a strong desire to achieve
VIVID: very clear or bright in color
RADIANT: bright or happy
ORGANISM: any living thing
TEDIOUS: boring
INTRIGUING: interesting
VERSATILE: used for many different purposes
DEVOTION: commitment
