Thunderbirds is a great non-fiction book for grades 3-5. It has great illustrations, fold-out pages, and it's really fun. When you read the book it feels like the different types of birds are right in front of you doing the things you're reading about. This book is a memoir of the author's trip in the wild. The author is Jim Arnosky.
