Our Different Kinds of Bookmarks

The Book Jacket Flap

The Dog-Ear

The Napkin

The Actual Real Bookmark

The Post-it

4A uses different types of book marks. 4A uses dog-ears, the book page, Post-its, electronic bookmarks, paper bookmarks, and napkins. There are a lot of different types of book marks. It does not matter what type book mark you use—as long as you read!
What type of bookmarks do you use and why?

  1. Most of the book I read are on my iPad. I like that the two apps I use for reading (iBooks and Kindle) remember where I left off so I don't have to do any bookmarking. But, I do use electronic bookmarks on pages I like or want to reread later.

  3. Sometimes I use airplane tickets as my bookmarks because I do most of my reading while traveling. I've also used pictures of my children when the were babies. Now I don't need to use a bookmark because I use a Nook and my ipad which have bookmarks bookmark functions.
