What is a hero?

Today in class Mrs. Alaniz asked us a question:

What is a hero?

We made a bubble map describing the qualities of being a hero.

 

 

We figured these things out:

• A hero doesn’t have to have powers.
• A hero can be a regular person.
• A hero doesn’t have to be physically strong. They can be mentally strong.
• A hero can be anyone.
• A hero has courage.

We also made memory bracelets out of red, white, and blue yarn. We made the bracelets by twisting and braiding. It was a little hard to tie a knot in the bracelets, but we got a partner and helped each other.
