Since we didn't finish celebrating on Thursday, we continued for another day!
Poem in Your Pocket Day worked like this.
First we wrote a poem or copied a poem from a book.
Then we folded it and put it in our pockets and when a student or teacher came near us we offered to read them our poem. This also works if you see someone in the hallway. You could ask them if they want to read your poem.
Some students put their poems in their socks!
Another student had her panda show her poem about . . PANDAS!
This student's pocket poem was colorful, and it was about DOGS.
Here's a poem written by one of our classmates!
We shared our poems in the cafeteria, too.
We loved POCKET POEM DAY!
Did you celebrate Poem in Your Pocket Day? How did you celebrate?
