Bluebonnet Books

After searching for arrays in math and working together to solve picture problems, we had lunch and went to one of our favorite places: the library. Mrs. Drawbaugh talked about the Bluebonnet Book party she will have at the end of the year for all students who successfully read at least 10 of the Bluebonnet Books. Every time we visit the library, she will read aloud one of the picture books on the list. Today, she read That Book Woman by Heather Henson. It was a very good book that made Mrs. Alaniz tear up a little bit because it was all about a boy who learns to love reading.

Mrs. Drawbaugh also challenged our class: Can every kid in 4D complete the 10-Book requirement? We all answered "Yes!"
Since many kids at Denton Creek want to read the books, go to the William T.Cozby Library to get copies of the titles you can't find at school. We can also get them at a bookstore, or swap with friends.
