Snack and A Story

Every day in 4D (or at least most days!), we have "Snack and A Story". Right after specials, Mrs. Alaniz sits in her chair and reads aloud from a good book. While she reads, we enjoy our apples, grapes, crackers, cheese sticks, pretzels, etc.

Right now, we're loving the book 11 Birthdays. (It's a Bluebonnet Book!) The picture above shows the view from the carpet. We like to sit here while Mrs. Alaniz reads. She reads and we snack!

Almost every day, though, Mrs. Alaniz stops sooner than we'd like. We always say "More!", but she always knows the right place to stop reading. It always makes us anxious for the next chapter!
