Planting a Seed
Last week we planted Brassica seeds. This plant requires special planting materials, so we had to make sure to follow every step correctly!

First, Mrs. Alaniz made sure we had everything we needed.

Here is what the seeds look like! Aren't they tiny? The yellow pellets in the cups are plant food. We each got eight seeds to plant.

Then we watered out plants with special paper wicks.

Here's what it looked like when we were done.

Each of us planted one quad. They're under a light now and they are being watered by a special watering system called a light tank.

We planted extras to make sure everyone has one. What will they look tomorrow?
Check our blog often to see!
